2004 AQHA Perlino Stallion

For your 2007 color guaranteed breeding! This coming up breeding season we will be standing this UC Davis tested "Perlino". He genetically has black points just like his buckskin sire and dam but also has an additional "Cr" gene. He ABSOLUTELY CAN NOT throw a sorrel, bay or chestnut foal!!!! It is genetically impossible. Thick build, perfect legs, beautiful head, great 100% color producer and some awesome foundation quarter horse bloodlines including Doc Bar, Cutter Bill, Hollywood Gold, Doc's Prescription, Docs Hand, Doc A'Lock and King. Even though you can't see it, many perlinos/cremellos carry a "smutty" gene that makes dark brassy buckskins or smutty palominos. This is a dominant gene and Profit does NOT have it. Both his sire and dam are beautiful golden buckskins (see below) with very little black outside of the points area. Both sire and dam have very black points which is also desirable from a color standpoint.

Pictures of Profit's grandparents have not been located yet but Docs Hand (Profit's maternal grandsire) was an excellent producer of Performance Open and Youth ROM (Register of Merit) horses. Below is a photo of his sire Doc A'Lock (Profit's great grandsire) who died in a barn fire at age 6. He earned cutting money of $34,301, was an NCHA Open Derby reserve champion, was a NCHA bronze metal earner but was an even greater sire. Despite dying young his get have earned over $211,111 in lifetime earnings, World Champion titles, and significant awards in many disciplines (roping, reining, team penning and cutting) in both APHA and AQHA competition.
